Ah, Mrs. Hudson. You've got to like her. She's always there, running about the house and trying to keep everything under control (pretty difficult, with Mr. Holmes as a tenant). Her relationship with John and Sherlock is somewhat like that of a mother, But sadly, until the BBC series, Mrs. Hudson was mostly a very minor character. What are your thoughts? Should she be getting more attention?
Except in the empty house, where she was having to enter the room with a rifle aimed at the window.
ReplyDeleteIn my humble opinion, Mrs Hudson in the BBC series is quite different from the caring and patient version in the canon. I am quite happy with the very minor role she has been given in this particular adaptation :)
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I agree, I think they've modernised Mrs. Hudson too! Although Sherlock seems to like her anyway. 'Mrs. Hudson leave Baker Street? England would fall!'
